What we collect
From the call form: your name, business name, email, mobile number, your answers, when to call, and how you found this site.
From the Sellability Score, if you ask for the full readout: your name, email, phone, business name and your answers.
From the add-back log sign-up: your first name and email.
From "Email me this" on a free tool: your first name, email and the tool's results.
When you become a client. Your contact details and the business records you share with us or give us access to.
When you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor.
How we use it
We use call form details to call you about your request, and to text you only if you checked the box to receive texts.
We use Sellability Score and add-back log details to send what you asked for and to follow up by email. You can unsubscribe anytime.
If you use "Email me this" on a free tool, we email you the results and a few follow-up notes. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
For clients: to do the work you hire us for, bill for it, and keep your Dash current.
Uploaded documents
Some of what you send us is personal, like payroll registers, tax returns, loan documents or IDs. We only need the business numbers inside them, so we pull those out and delete the original files within 30 days of their arrival. The less we hold onto, the less there is to protect.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run our business: email and scheduling, website hosting and storage, payment processing (Stripe), bank and card connections (Plaid), and text message delivery. They use it to provide those services to us. We may also share information when the law requires it.
We never sell or rent your information, and we never share your mobile number for marketing.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold.
Texts and email
We text and email clients about their account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.
Tracking
This site runs no ads or cross-site tracking, so Do Not Track signals do not change how it works.
How long we keep it
If you reach out to us, we keep your message as long as we need it to help you and to keep normal business records.
While we work together, we keep your full business history. It's what makes your Dash and our advice sharper month after month, and each year you get your year-end books, ready for you and your CPA.
If we part ways, we hold your records for 3 years, so if you come back, we pick up right where we left off. After that, we delete them. Your business is responsible for keeping its own records as long as tax rules require, and the year-end books you get each year are built for exactly that.
You can ask us to delete what we hold about you at any time, and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it or we need it to answer a question about our work.
